My designs are influenced largely by my love of vintage fabrics, quilts, game boards and contemporary graphic arts.  
The process always influences the outcome.  Since childhood I have enjoyed the process of layering colors and shapes.  In the studio I paint and print on synthetic industrial felt using textile pigments to create one of a kind floor, wall and tabletop pieces.  The marks and shapes from the painted works inspire the bold patterns and motifs in the jacquard woven home textiles and knotted wool carpets.  As both accent and anchor, I intend for my designs to bring a smile to the heart and warm any private or public space.
